What will change in 2015?

8 January 2015 By Richard Dent OAM

As 2015 gets under way, what lies ahead for you? What are you looking forward to, and what are the challenges you will need to tackle? What do you want to change in 2015?

While many of us have enjoyed a holiday break, events have continued in Australia and around the world which remind us that, as the world keeps changing, leadership challenges are ever-present. Leaders need to face complex challenges with resilience: tapping into their value system, sense-making, and then moving forward with resolve.

Leaders in business, government and civic sectors all face big challenges this year: economic cooling and disruption, a new state government, a complex Commonwealth budget, strongly emerging themes of strategic challenges to nonprofits.

So what will 2015 look like for you? What do you want to change for yourself, your team or your organisation? Are you achieving your leadership potential and having the maximum impact? Use this time to challenge yourself. Thinking about leadership frameworks and your own leadership style; and talking and sharing experiences with other established and emerging leaders, boosts resiliance and helps us all to be better leaders for a better world.

What do you need to do now to be the change you want to see in 2015?
