Melbourne East Disability Advocacy (MEDA) - Mentor the Program Manager of this organisation which helps the intellectually disabled

Melbourne East Disability Advocacy (MEDA) is a small not for profit disability advocacy organisation in the Eastern Region. MEDA provides individual and volunteer citizen advocacy programs to support people with an intellectual disability.

Advocacy assists and empowers people with an intellectual disability to have more control over decision making and ensures the rights of people with a disability are protected, promoted and upheld. MEDA is governed by a community based Committee of Management that is elected annually. MEDA is staffed by a part time Program Manager, Disability Advocate and Administration Assistant.

MEDA Program Manager Mentor / Coach Project. The purpose is to match an experienced and savvy Manager / Executive Officer as a mentor to MEDA's Program Manager to provide an independent platform for reflective practice, leadership and management guidance, critique and development.

On a bi-monthly basis to meet face to face with MEDA's Program Manager and to provide intermittent electronic communication
